Waterfront creates an inspirational kitchen in a Cotswolds village
A beautiful Cotswold stone cottage on the edge of Cirencester today has an inspirational kitchen that would woo any cook.
Simple in style, it blends products from leading designers Wentworth, work surfaces in Corian which allows all work surface joints to be polished out...plus the latest in kitchen appliances from Neff.
The owners, who moved to the area a couple of years ago , turned to the design expertise of Waterfront to create the kitchen of their dreams.
The lady of the house explained: "I hate fussiness and neither of us are Shaker fans. The kitchen that existed to my mind was poorly planned and there was a lack of work surfaces".
They had already purchased bathroom equipment from Cirencester's Waterfront. They looked at a number of kitchen providers. but then decided to return to the Love Lane business.
"We had been hugely impressed the first time we did business with Waterfront, and the second occasion, to provide the kitchen, has been just as good.
"It is the team, which makes the real difference. They are kitchen and bathroom designers through and through. They listened carefully to my requirement,gave valuable advice on unit options and equipment brought back computer aided designs for us to see. We made some modest changes and then Waterfront supplied our beautiful kitchen", she said.
Her husband said: "The amazing thing is that there is no charge for the design service, and yet these are highly creative, skilled people who create precisely what's in your mind's eye".
They have been especially impressed with Corian - their work surfaces came in an excellent range of colours,which can resist any stain left on them and if it becomes marked for some reason, the Corian specialists are able to polish out the most stubborn of blemishes.
With cupboard and work space which would be the envy of most homes, and appliances all matching from Neff – oven, gas hob, refrigerator, microwave - there must be one work to sum up the new kitchen in the old cottage.
